BRAVELYRISE FAQ

BravelyRise is for women seeking to release lies spoken over them. We currently serve women over the age of 18. It is for women from all different backgrounds and walks in life. It is for women willing to take a chance on beginning to deal with some of the untruths they have held. It is for women dealing with pain and loss. It is for women who have felt unqualified and disqualified. It is for women who want to be healed. It is for women who are "in the process" and have decided to take a step into the direction of healing.

WHY IS IT CALLED A RETREAT?

The purpose of a retreat is to withdraw into a quiet and secluded place. The Rise program is broken up into nine sessions over the course of three days. It is a time that we will separate ourselves from what's going on in the world and instead focus on what is going on within ourselves and with what God wants to do with us.

WHAT HAPPENS ON A RETREAT?

Retreats are broken up into three sessions a day. Each session includes a speaker, a discussion group and a writing period. The goal is that as a group we begin to slowly peel back the lies that have been spoken over us and step into the truth. It is an intense process as it requires participants to dig deep to get to the root of the lie. Each day begins and ends in a prayer.

DO I HAVE TO BE CHRISTIAN TO BE PART OF THE RETREAT?

For some, this experience may be the first time you hear about Jesus for others it will be a way to grow deeper in your walk with Christ. You are welcome here. At the foundation of everything we do at BravelyRISE is Christ. Our teachings and our discussions will lead us into conversations about who Jesus is. We ask that you come with an open heart and willing spirit. The type of journey BravelyRise brings you in does not exist without Jesus but how incredible is it that God can reveal himself even when you are not ready to believe.

WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT LIKE?

Participants will need to commit to a full retreat weekend. Typically consisting of a Friday Evening, All Day Saturday and All Day Sunday.

A cohort is another name for a group. The BravelyRise retreats are intentionally kept at a group with no more than twelve women at a time. This cohort will move together through the nine sessions. It is our expectation that the cohort bonds in such a unique way over the three days of retreat.
